Carl Pankratz is a Commercial Real Estate Attorney/Escrow Officer dedicated to helping his clients succeed. He has worked in all areas of the title business, including experience as a title examiner, underwriter and commercial escrow officer. In his current role as a Escrow Officer, he specializes in closing industrial, multi-family, office and retail properties, and he has experience dealing with clients throughout the country. Recognized for his talents, he was selected by the State Bar of Texas to serve on the State Bar Real Estate Forms Committee.

Carl has given numerous presentations throughout DFW, ranging from a basic seminar on title commitments to changes in recent State Laws. He is constantly asked to speak on contracts and is a big believer in the philosophy "Protect yourself on the front end, so you won't get bit later on the back end." His works have been published in the Texas Land Title Association Publication, including an article concerning changes made to State Abstracts of Judgment.

A Graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU), Carl was very active as a member of the SMU Football Team, won a National Championship at the College World Series of Advertising, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Following his undergraduate studies, Carl was accepted to Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was on the Moot Court Team, National Mock Trial Team, and founded SMU Dedman School of Law Sports and Entertainment Law Association.

In the Community, Carl is a City Councilman for the City of Rowlett and has experience on the Planning and Zoning Committee and Board of Adjustment. He is the Founder of Blackacre 48, a commercial real estate group and the Rowlett Association of Non-Profits(RAN). His passions include community theatre, he has starred in over 8 shows, and the Rowlett Animal Shelter. He is a member of NTCAR, TREC, and the Urban Land Institute.

He has received numerous accolades, both in Real Estate and in the community including being named one of the Five Outstanding Young Dallasites in 2011 by the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce and one of the "40 under 40" by the Dallas Business Journal in 2013. Other honors include being one of 20 lawyers in the State selected for Leadership State Bar of Texas, selection as a Fellow by the Next Generation Project Texas, Leadership North Texas, and being selected for Texas Ballet Theatre's Leadership Ballet, for his commitment to the Arts.
